少林传统拳

Traditional Shaolin GongFu

For ages 13+

Shaolin GongFu is a Chinese martial art that has a history of over 1500 years.  Utilizing a mixture of both hard and soft techniques. Traditional Chinese martial arts do not have a belt system. Skill level is gauged in four categories beginner, intermediate, advanced, and teaching.  Based off of how diligently a student trains, there are tests every 4 months to gauge the students progress, in order for them to learn new material.  Shaolin students learn stretching, stances, kicks, empty-hand and weapons forms, as well as group forms. In addition to the external core curriculum internal aspects of the martial arts are also taught in the traditional shaolin class such as TaiJi and QiGong. For students wanting to specialize in a particular style these classes are also offered in individual classes as well.

Practicing Qi Gong will help to strengthen the body, increase awareness. There are four different Qi Gong sets practiced Ba Duan Jing, Yi Jin Jing, Xi Sui Jing, and Yin Qi Gong.

Tiny Titans

For ages 2-5 years old

Our Tiny Titans class is the class for you if you are wanting to start your child off right on their way to physical success! Most martial arts schools will not teach children before the age of 5. At Jade Fortress we embrace the idea of the earlier the better. Tiny Titans focus on child coordination development, and giving them a safe place to use all of the energy they have balled up inside. This combined with learning Chinese language, helps to improve your little ones both physically and mentally. It's scientifically proven that children who grow up learning multiple languages excel more in life. Enroll your child in our Tiny Titans program and give them the early building blocks to success.
