I'm Tiffany Leisch and I've been training in Shaolin kung fu at Jade Fortress for a little over three years now and what I have learned in my training has changed me in many ways for the better. It would be hard to pick one reason why I decided to get into martial arts, as there were many reasons that led me down this road. I’ve struggled most my life with anxiety and depression and was always looking for a way to feel better about myself and the world around me. I wanted to feel stronger and more confident. In addition, I wanted to feel safe and to know that I could defend myself in a situation where no one else may be able to do it for me.
Martial arts has done that for me and more, and my time training and seeing real results made me want to share that knowledge with others. I want my students to experience what I have, to know what it feels like to push your self out of your comfort zone and discover your physical and mental limits and realize that you’re capable of far more than you could’ve imagined originally.
